The 2012 Vibration Institute Training Conference will take place in beautiful Williamsburg, VA on June 19-22, 2012 at The Woodlands Hotel and Suites. The Training Conference provides training and education in practical vibration technology and networking opportunities for attendees – it is THE place for the vibration community to meet annually.
The 2012 Vibration Institute Training Conference emphasizes the use of basic and advanced techniques to achieve an outstanding predictive maintenance program. Identification, analysis, and correction techniques including balancing and alignment are topics of interest. Techniques used in vibration analysis, basic rotor dynamics, operating deflection shapes, time waveform analysis, machine isolation, and machine monitoring are stressed.

NEW!! Academic Presentations
The Vibration Institute will introduce an Academic Track at the 2012 Vibration Training Conference in Williamsburg, VA. This track will be dedicated to university research, student projects, and instructional practices. All papers (10 pages or less) will be peer reviewed by two or more reviewers, and will be published in the Conference Proceedings.
2012 Exhibit Hall
The 2012 Exhibit Hall includes vendors who will have equipment on-hand for conducting condition-based monitoring using vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasound. The exhibits provide attendees an overview of the technology available for the effective operation of a predictive maintenance program within their organization.

Mission
The mission of the Vibration Institute is to disseminate practical information on evaluating machinery behavior and condition without commercial interest. The Institute offers programs include education, training, certification, opportunities for exchanging technical knowledge, information, procedures, and data that are offered through meetings, publications, formal training and networking.
