Participation deadline was January 31, 2014, thank you for your interest.
Thank you for your desire and enthusiasm to volunteer your time, effort, experience and knowledge to make a positive contribution to the creation of an ASA/ANSI national standard on Shaft Alignment Methodology.
The response to the Vibration Institute’s Call for Participation has been outstanding, and the number of applicants has greatly exceeded our original projections. Such great interest is wonderful, but has delayed the completion of committee member selection. We expect to have the applications vetted and to notify each applicant as to their status by email on March 3, 2014.
The kick-off workgroup web meeting, originally scheduled for February 20, is being rescheduled for Thursday March 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. (CST). The agenda and connection information for the web meeting will also be sent on March 3, 2014 to those who have been selected to participate.
IMPORTANT – RESPONSE REQUIRED:
Recent procedural developments have highlighted the need to gather additional information from each applicant to aide in selection. If you have previously submitted an application, please provide the following four items, by email, to ASC_S2_WG15@vi-institute.org by Friday, February 28, 2014.
1. Your name
2. Your current country of residence
3. Your country of citizenship
4. Can you adequately communicate (understand/speak/read/write) in English? Yes or No
We appreciate your interest in participating in the Shaft Alignment Methodology working group.
