VIATC 2019 Program Chair Invitation

As the Technical Program Chairman for Vibration Institute Annual Training Conference & Expo (VIATC), I’d like to personally invite you to attend this year’s Conference in Lexington, July 23-26, 2019. VIATC has consistently been the premier event for professionals involved in vibration analysis and condition monitoring and this year is no exception.

The conference features over 50 papers from industry professionals, 4 short courses, 2 full sessions with academic and research papers, over 40 vendors in the expo, a complete Introduction to Machinery Vibration (IMV) course, certification examinations, and 2 receptions for visiting vendor booths and networking. We have a very wide diversity of papers this year including the traditional vibration analysis and condition monitoring variety but also include papers in: IIoT, motion amplification, motor current analysis, oil & wear particle analysis, reliability, shaft alignment, shock pulse monitoring, ultrasound, wireless sensors, and a fun session on crazy vibration jobs.

Our keynote speaker this year could not be better. I am excited to say we have Professor David J. Ewins, FRE, FREng a Distinguished Research Fellow from Imperial College London, UK. His list of accolades is long and impressive and I encourage you to read his full biography. He has been a Professor of Vibration Engineering for nearly 40 years and the author of Modal Testing Theory Practice and Application so, needless to say, he is right up our alley. Dr. Ewins will give us a brief history of vibration testing and analysis, explain where we are today, and discuss where he believes we will go in the future. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to listen to one of the very best in our business. I know I won’t. Be sure to check out a complete list of our expert speakers from around the world here.

If you are looking for equipment for condition monitoring and analysis, you won’t have any problems finding what you want at the VIATC expo. Our vendors will have the latest and greatest technologies available for whatever you need to do. You will enjoy talking to them in the relaxed atmosphere of four sponsored events that include two lunches and two networking receptions with plenty of giveaways. Support our vendors and help yourself.

Finally, it takes huge effort to put on a conference like this. Where else will you find so much talent gathered together in our industry that is ready to share their knowledge with you. Take advantage of this opportunity and register for VIATC today!<

Sincerely,
Dave Corelli,
Vibration Institute Technical Program Chair
