Online Learning FAQs
We have both EU & SI versions of the course available of CAT II and EU version of CAT I. Anyone may take our online courses.
Anyone residing outside the United States may register for our online courses.
Course materials are optional and may be purchased at the time you register for your course.
Once you have registered, and payment has been received, please allow 2 business days to receive access to your course. At this time, you will receive an email from Desire2Learn to create a password for access for your course. If you do not receive an email from Desire2Learn within 2 business days, please contact the Vibration Institute by emailing information@vi-institute.org.
Our courses are on a rolling basis, and you may register at any time.
If you have not completed the first three chapters of the course and you no longer wish to continue your online course, you may register for our in-person training course at half price. The in-person course must be taken within 12 months of the online course registration.
If you have completed more than the first three chapters of the course and would like to attend our in-person training course, the Vibration Institute will provide a 25 percent discount for the in-personcourse. The in-person course must be taken within 12 months of the online course registration.
You may withdraw from a course within the first 15 days of registration if you have not completed the first course chapter.

No. We do not offer refunds on course materials. Course materials are non-refundable.
You will have three months to complete your course from the day you receive access.
We will offer a one-time extension which will extend your class for three months. The cost for this extension is:
If you need additional time, or another extension, you must pay the full price of the course.
No. Our courses are asynchronous, which allows you to learn according to your schedule.
You will interact through Desire2Learn (D2L) Bright space with an instructor and other students through chapters and discussion boards.
Your online course requires a high-speed internet connection with a newer version web browser.
We ask that you do not call the Vibration Institute Office as all Technical Support is handled by Desire2Learn. Please call 877-325-7778 or use the chat function in your course.
No. However, our certification exams are not online and will need to be scheduled to take in person through our events calendar once you have completed your class. If you are an International student, please work with one of our International Representatives regarding your certification exam.
You will receive an electronic certificate of completion in our member portal in which you may download. You will receive an email once it has posted. Our office will also mail a paper certificate of completion.
Online Certification exams are not an option at this time. Please refer to our events calendar for dates and locations for exam events. If you do not live in the US, please contact one of our International Representatives to set up your exam.
