VI Logo Guidelines
Guidelines for Logo Usage
The following guidelines explain the requirements and prohibitions associated with the use of the Vibration Institute logo. These guidelines must be followed and adhered to at all times when using the logo to promote any affiliation with the Vibration Institute. If there is any question pertaining to use of the logo, it is the responsibility of the individual and/or organization to contact and obtain approval from the Institute staff office. Please allow a minimum of five (5) business days for approval of logo usage.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines can result in serious consequences to a certified vibration analyst, member, Chapter or International Representatives’ standing with the Vibration Institute.

Definitions
Certified Vibration Analyst
An individual who holds a valid and current Vibration Institute certificate in Category I, II, III, or IV, participates in ongoing professional development, and follows the Institute’s Code of Ethics.
VI Institute Member
An individual who is currently in good standing as a member of the Vibration Institute.
VI Chapters
A Chapter is an organization with whom the Vibration Institute has entered into an ongoing relationship/agreement and who engages in educational, scientific, investigative, literary, philanthropic, and charitable pursuits that are directly related to the stated purposes of the Vibration Institute within the state they reside in.
Corporate Members
A financial arrangement has been met between the Vibration Institute and an individual and/or company that shares an interest in the vibration analysis field.
International Representatives
A formal agreement and working relationship between the Vibration Institute and an individual and/or organization in a specific region of the world that provides Vibration Institute training and certification while adhering to all established Institute policies and procedures.
The Integrity of the Logo
The Logo may not be modified in any manner. No additional material or text may be placed immediately adjacent to or inside the Logo.
If the information contained in this guide is not clear, it is the responsibility of the individual or organization to seek approval from the VI Staff Office for all materials containing the Logo prior to production. This approval is limited to placement and usage of the Logo and does not constitute an approval of the individuals or organizations compliance with the Institute’s Bylaws, Code of Ethics, policies and procedures. Please allow a minimum of five (5) business days for approval of the Symbol usage.
Placement of the Logo
All qualified users of the Logo must take steps to ensure that it is not placed on any item, print or electronic communication in such a manner as to give the appearance that the logo is owned or controlled by any entity other than the Vibration Institute.
Style and Size of Logo
When reproducing the Logo it must be done as follows:
Type Style – Arial Italic
Pantone® colors – Blue 295C and Blue 295U (unless printed in black)
Reproduction of the Logo may not be more than twice the size of the name of the certified vibration analyst, member, Chapter, Corporate Sponsor or International Representative.
General Use by Certified Vibration Analysts
The Logo can be used to designate affiliation with the Vibration Institute and can include:
The individual’s name
The category level certified to by the Vibration Institute
The certification expiration date
The service trademark designation (®) in close proximity to the Logo
The Symbol May Be Used On
Business cards
Personalized labels
Business forms
Business stationery
General Use by Members
The Logo can be used to designate affiliation with the Vibration Institute and can include:
The individual’s name
Member in good standing with the Vibration Institute
The service trademark designation (®) in close proximity to the Logo
The Symbol May Be Used On
Business cards
Personalized labels
Business forms
Business stationery
General Use by Chapters
The Logo can be used to designate Chapter affiliation with the Vibration Institute and can include:
The complete Chapter name
Vibration Institute Name of Chapter
The service trademark designation (®) in close proximity to the Logo

The Logo can be used to designate Corporate Sponsorship affiliation with the Vibration Institute and can include:
The complete Corporate Sponsor name in close proximity to the Logo
The service trademark designation (®) in close proximity to the Logo
The Symbol May Be Used On
Brochures and promotions relating to Corporate Sponsor training and certification – see advertising below
Corporate Sponsor business cards
Gifts for speaker
Corporate Sponsor labels
Corporate Sponsor stationery

General Use by International Representatives
The Logo can be used to designate International Representative affiliation with the Vibration Institute and can include:
The complete International Representative name in close proximity to the Logo.
The service trademark designation (®) in close proximity to the Logo.
The Symbol May Be Used On
Brochures and promotions relating to International Representative training and certification – see advertising below:
International Representative business cards
Gifts for speaker
International Representative labels
International Representative stationery
International Representative Website
Use of Logo in Advertisements
In addition to the “general uses” described above, the Logo may be used by Chapters, Corporate Sponsors, and International Representatives in advertisements such as direct mail, yellow page ads, electronic and print advertising. At no time is the Chapter, Corporate Sponsor, or International Representative permitted to state the Vibration Institute is a sponsor and/or has endorsed the content of the advertisement.
The trademark designation (®) must be included whenever the Logo is used.
The Logo must not dominate the advertisement in which it is used or create the impression that it is sponsored, endorsed, or paid for by the Vibration Institute.
The Vibration Institute is not responsible, nor liable, for the content of the advertisement
It is the responsibility of the individual to ensure the use of the Logo meets the guidelines of the Vibration Institute Bylaws and Code of Ethics.
If the advertising information contained in this guide is not clear to the individual member, it is the responsibility of the member to seek approval from the Vibration Institute’s Executive Office for all materials containing the Symbol prior to production. This approval is limited to placement and usage of the Symbol and does not constitute an approval of the Member’s compliance with the Society’s Bylaws and Code of Ethics. Please allow a minimum of five (5) business days for approval of the Symbol usage.
