EXAMINATION PROCESS

Exams may be taken at the Vibration Institute office at any time during business hours, after a Vibration Institute training course, or through a private exam.

Please allow up to three weeks for your examination to be graded once payment has been received.

If attending a Vibration Institute public training course:

Please note, if you would like to register for an exam event only, you may do so through our events calendar.

Exam events typically take place on Fridays or Saturdays throughout the year at various locations.

If already have training through the institute, or trained through a source other than the Vibration Institute:

Private exams are a courtesy that is meant to accommodate the occasional individual who has great difficulty attending a scheduled exam event. Private exams are limited to one approved proctor and one exam candidate per session.
Individuals who are proctoring private exams are limited to one private exam, every six months.
If your exam session includes more than one examinee, this is considered a group exam and your company must be a Corporate Member of the Vibration Institute and become an Exam Sponsor. Please contact our office to learn more.
Proctors must take the Vibration Institute proctor training and successfully pass the training quiz to become an approved proctor.
Examination sponsor/proctor should notify the Vibration Institute of planned examination and date and submit our CF005 Application to Sponsor a
Vibration Institute Certification Examination Form in advance of the exam.
All exam candidates must submit their CF009 Exam Application form to be approved in a timely manner prior to their exam date. Click HERE for the Exam Application

US exam pricing is as follows:

CAT I: $360

CAT II: $410

CAT III: $460

CAT IV: $510

For Retesting:

Contact the Vibration Institute to determine examination location and date

$150.00 for first retest. First retest must be taken within 12 months of the initial test. Any additional retests of same category will be charged regular price.

INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES

Work with an International Representative to determine your qualifications and training needs.
Register for any training or examinations through your International Representative.
Complete Your Examination Application Form and submit to your International Representative.

International Retest:
