The Vibration Institute Certification Program for Vibration Analyst is an ANAB-Accredited Personnel Certification Program – Accreditation #0845. ANAB is the ANSI National Accreditation Board. The accreditation by ANAB assures that the Institute’s certification program is valid, reliable, impartial, and provides fair and equal access to the certification policies and procedures that assess the qualifications of candidates on a standardized basis.

The Vibration Institute’s top management is committed to operate an objectively constructed and impartial certification program which certifies vibration analysts according to ISO 18436 Parts 1 and 2. The Vibration Institute places the utmost importance on the integrity, impartiality, and potential conflicts of interests in carrying out the management of the certification program to ensure fairness for all applicants, candidates, and certificants.

The Vibration Institute does not require training by the Vibration Institute to qualify to take a Vibration Institute Certification Exam. The Vibration Institute accepts training received by any training organization that follows the Body of Knowledge as defined in ISO 18436-2 and Requirements for training bodies as defined in ISO 18436-3.
